Australia, Jan. 1993: Axl Rose’s FOH vocal channel used an Aphex Dominator as peak limiter, an Aphex Expresser compressor and a t.c. electronic 1128 1/3-octave unit. Ring-out was performed with the microphone itself in front of the PA because the performance area extended ahead of the arrays. Chain detailed in 3.2.1; the personal RF system remains separate (CONNECTIONS, 1993, pp. 36–41).
